Coach Jamals background in Psychology and years in high-level basketball have shaped a simple belief: physical talent alone is never enough. Confidence, discipline, focus, resilience, and competitive mindset are what separate good players from great ones.

The reality is that physical talent alone isnt enoughmental toughness, confidence, focus, and competitive mindset separate good players from great players.

With the way social media has pushed us to cross platforms as it relates to our individual interests and connecting with different people, this is an opportunity to combine a love for basketball with a love for psychology. These concepts sometimes come in the form of quotes, ways to build confidence, things to consider, Bible scriptures or phrases that relate to being confident or fearless, or just something that could help someone.

Rarely will these posts only be about basketball. Replace basketball with whatever it is you do, and youll be able to take something from it. This is about developing mental strength that translates to all areas of life.
