League Details
NFBA Saturday Hoops is a developmental basketball league focused on teaching the game through structured instruction, skill development, and live competition. Unlike traditional leagues, there are no permanent teams or standings. Players will compete with different teammates each week to encourage learning, adaptability, teamwork, and basketball IQ.
Instead of traditional championship trophies, NFBA Saturday Hoops will recognize athletes for growth, effort, leadership, teamwork, and performance throughout the program through awards such as Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, Most Improved Player, Best Teammate Award, Hustle Award, and the Coaches Award.

Improve decision making, reads, awareness, and overall understanding of the game while learning from NFBA and Booker high coaches & players.

What to Expect
Structured Teaching:
Players will receive live coaching and instruction throughout every session, not just gameplay.
Skill Development:
Athletes will work on ball handling, shooting, finishing, footwork, and confidence building.
Team Basketball Players will learn spacing, movement, communication, and how to play effectively with teammates.
Competitive Play Athletes will compete in structured 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 game situations designed to teach decision making and basketball IQ. Mentorship & Culture Featuring involvement from Booker High School coaches and players while emphasizing leadership, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.
